The Best Value Approach (BVA) is business model that can be used to improve the efficiency and performance of procurement, project management, and risk management. Through over 25 years and 2,000 projects, the approach has proven to be the one of the most innovative technologies in the industry. The approach has made a significant impact in the Netherlands where it revolutionized how the government purchases and manages services (first tests were on 1.5B Euros infrastructure project). Interest has spread across Europe into Belgium, Norway, Sweden, and Poland because of the significant results involving cost reduction, increase in productivity and decrease in resources needed.
