While serving in the military and later in academia, I observed a lot of people in many different organizations. It appeared that the more bureaucratic organizations were manned by three types of employees, and leadership had little influence on them. The Creation of a Best Value Environment

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, a business unit of GD with more than 8,000 employees (80+ locations), has recently partnered with the PBSRG and begun the organizational transformation process to become performance based. No research client of similar characteristics (size and non-government) has pursued such an aggressive and visionary application of the research concepts.

State of Missouri Testing Best Value in Design and Construction

The PBSRG has been working with the State of Missouri’s Division of Facilities Management, Design, and Construction for over a year, starting with two initial test applications: one in the design of a Veterans Cemetery for Iraq and Afghanistan war casualties and the other in a land reclamation project requiring earthwork stretched across 65 square miles.
