Student Worker Positions

We are always looking for smart, motivated, and reliable students for part time work on campus. To be eligible for a student position, you must be currently enrolled as an ASU student. Most students work 15-20 hours per week but we are very flexible. Student workers are responsible for a variety of tasks, including: data entry, filing, phone calls, documentation and organization, preparing contact lists, and other administrative functions. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is also required. Students that show outstanding performance may be given the opportunity for a part-time staff position.

How To Apply for a Student Worker Position

*Timed Tests -
For these files we'd like you to download and modify them to look nice and presentable, as well as check for math or spelling errors. We will rate your submissions and this will factor in to our hiring decision.

  1. When you click the link to download the file, you will be asked to first submit your Name and Email. Once you submit that information, you will be asked to save the file on your computer.
  2. When you download the file, please modify it as explained above and save the file with this name "Time Trial - Your Full Name"
  3. Immediately after modifying the file, email it to contact@pbsrg.com. Use the same email that you used to download the file, and add this to the Subject Line: "Employment - Time Trial Submission - Your Full Name" - Basically, we will subtract the time you downloaded the file, from the time you submitted the file, to get your total time.

Graduate Assistant / Part-Time Staff Positions

For these positions, we are looking for individuals who can be consultants and who are integrated into our research effort immediately. However, there are strict guidelines that must be met in order to be considered. Potential staff must do the following:

  • Write a journal paper on our research.
  • Complete the PIPS/IMT class and show outstanding academic/consulting aptitude.
  • Be hired on as a student worker for a semester.
  • Show interest in being an expert in this area of research
  • Have the skills to be a future educator / expert.
  • Have desire to earn a PhD.

We do not hire unless the above requirements are met.
