Landscape Facility Construction

Project Overview

The purpose of the Project is to construct a complete DAS Landscape Facility that provides adequate workspace for DAS Landscape Program personnel and equipment. The Project site is located at 880 Union Street NE, Salem, Oregon within the State of Oregon’s Green Parking Lot site in the Capitol Mall Area, (reference Appendix 1 for exact location). The proposed structure should be an approximately 2,700 square feet pre-engineered metal building. The proposed construction site is approximately 9,720 square feet. The current construction budget is $275,000-$325,000. Funding for this Project has been submitted by DAS to the Legislature for approval. Contract award cannot be authorized until the Legislature approves the DAS Capital Construction budget. DAS expects to receive funding approval approximately July 1, 2011. Work under the Project shall be scheduled to provide for completion at the earliest possible time after contract execution and issuance of a notice-to-proceed (“NTP”).
