Willow Creek Middle School Phase I Renovation

Project Overview

General Contract: Work includes minor earthwork, chain link fencing, concrete retaining wall, exterior concrete slabs and walks, exterior carpentry work, roof patching, wall and ceiling demolition and repair for mechanical work, minor interior remodeling, and replacement of acoustic ceilings throughout building and acoustic treatment in music rooms.

Mechanical Contract: Work includes replacement of water heaters, replacement of domestic water piping, new flush valves on urinals and toilets, replace showers, replace wash fountains, removing existing boilers, steam system, pumps, chiller, cooling tower, and air handling units, and installing new pre‐purchased boilers, chiller, thermal energy storage system, heat recovery unit, and air handling units. Furnishing and installing new VAV boxes, new ductwork, new piping, new pumps, and new energy management system. Modifications to fire protection system will be required for new ceilings and lighting.

Electrical Contract: Work includes replace and upgrade light fixtures throughout building, replace exit lights, upgrade fire alarm system, replace exterior building security lighting, electrical modifications required by mechanical equipment modifications and disconnect and reconnect electrical service to ceiling mounted equipment due to ceiling replacement.

This project will take place at Willow Creek Middle School, located at 2425 11th Ave Southeast.
