Windows Replacement - Wichita

Project Overview

The Wichita Federal Courthouse is a historical building. The internal window film between the panes of glass is delaminating, creating an extremely unsightly condition as well as reducing the benefit of the film regarding solar infiltration. This condition is very pronounced on the south and west sides of the building. There are approximately twenty percent (20%) of the windows in this condition. The existing windows were installed approximately twenty (20) years ago. The existing windows consist of a double pane witll an internal laminate film. The sealed air space between the panes of glass has been compromised on some of the windows and condensation is forming between the two panes of glass.
